..... Covenstead .....
Under Construction - Click for possible further details ...
is a rock band and recording project centered in Southeastern Massachusetts.
Our music is hard and heavy progressive metal - yet includes alternative influences
and definite elements of punk, techno, and industrial.
.
Perhaps best termed "experimental," the music is sometimes heavy, often dark, and sometimes soft, ethereal and ambient  - but always melodic with dynamics.
Much of our music is also "Medieval/ Renaissance" or "Gothic" in nature.
.
The lyrical content of our songs tends to be an evaluative running commentary on societal conditions in today's America, about interpersonal relationships,
and about humankind's place in the universe.
.
Offered here is only a very small taste of what is yet to come ...

And even a little of what has been - mostly thanx to Al's "pack rat tendencies" ...
