| 1980, 4th of July weekend - Went to Rocky Point Park, on a whim and out of boredom and loneliness, with my friend's brother. We next ended up in NYC, and spent the next day going to the top of the WTC... taking the ferry, then walking all around Staten Island... I'd only passed thru NY a couple of times prior to this. It was a kewl adventure, but I can tell you right now - it isn't my thing. I like peace and quiet when we're NOT cranking music. Must be "getting old," eh? | ||
